Obituary

BARBARA L. WALD,

82, of Cass City, died peacefully Friday, June 12, 2020 in her home. She was born July 25, 1937 in Bach the fifth of seven children born to Earl and Velta Lena (Sontag) Stock.

Barbara worked as a housekeeper for numerous families over many years. She was a member of Our Lady Consolata Parish, St. Pancratius Catholic Church. As a result of her sunny disposition, she called everyone “Honey”. Barbara loved baking pies and crocheting. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and making memories.

Barbara is survived by her children: Timothy J. Wald of Saginaw, Laura Ann Raab of Mohave Valley, AR, Julie Anne (Chester Jr.) Koliboski of Flushing, Bridget Anne (Donald) Childs of Cass City, Kristie Ann (Richard) Scott of Deford; six grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; sisters: Donna Schember of Caro, June Markert of Englewood, FL; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her grandson, Jacob P. Wald; sisters: infant Nira, Connie Armbruster, Delphine Dillon; brother, Harlan Stock.

Graveside service held 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 15, 2020 in Hillside Cemetery with Rev. Theo Nnabugo of Our Lady Consolata Parish, St. Pancratius Catholic Church of Cass City officiating. Memorials may be made to St. Pancratius Catholic Church of Cass City. Family and friends may share memories, prayers and photos with the family at www.kranzfuneralhome.com.
