When I think of him, and I will often, I plan on remembering the man of my childhood. The man who always made me feel welcome in his home even when he didn't know I would be there. The man who always called me sweetie and never hesitated in saying "I love you too" I can't remember him ever telling Jodi or I no lol. He had such a kind heart. I only regret there were no cell phones to video the 15 minutes it took for him to cross the yard at Aunt Sharons because he was barefoot. I still smile remembering the faces he made and the sounds he made making that journey to the pool. I will remember him as healthy and free and have faith he is again. So glad he was in my life and grateful he was my amazing and fun uncle.
