Can't think of Our Lady Consolata/ St Pancratius without thinking of Ms. Nina. She was such a staple there. No matter how many times my little girl shied away from her, Ms. Nina would always try to talk to her. Nina always had a smile and so much joy. Things won't be the same without her energy and her running around, keeping up with the young folk. You will be greatly missed!

Dear Nina,
A prayer of prayer and thanksgiving springs up to God for the gift of your life on earth and now in His loving and merciful presence.
My heart is full of gratitude for the many blessings that you bestowed upon me, my mother, family, friends and faith community. No word can fully express this gratitude, however from the balcony of God's dwelling you are fully aware of it.
I certainly believe that God welcomes and embraces you with tenderness as we entrust you to Him with grateful and sorrowful hearts. I believe that as you enter into God's presence, He greets you: "Welcome Home beloved daughter and faithful servant, you are precious in my eyes... I love you... you are mine."
Prayers and Blessings to Tony, Theresa, family, friends, faith community of Our Lady Consolata Parish and fellow citizens of Cass City, MI.
Fr. Christian Tabares

Heartfelt Sympathies

Nina and I worked together for over 35+ years. When she initially came to Cass City with Commercial Cord Co,{aka General Cable Co} in the mid 60's she was The Champion for that Co., and I was young Process Tech., she taught me what Customer Service was all about . She always did it with her big smile that we all know of. She was always doing something for someone else or her church, trust me I bought many many raffle tickets from her for her causes and they were all great of course.
Whenever I wanted to know the Real Deal on any Italian recipe Nina was my resource and always happy to share as well.
Rest in Peace My Friend, YOU deserve it.
