My heart was sadden when I read of the loss of Parker, and I wanted to send my warmest condolences to the family. To lose a precious loved one, a child, a part of you, can bring such overwhelming grief but the God of all comfort tells us at 2 Kings 20:5 He doesn’t cause the loss and that He hears your prayers, sees your tears and feels your pain. Please read in the Bible at John 5:28,29 that not only does God care but lovingly gives assurance that you will have him in your life once again without all the pain we see today. Until God’s promises come true may every good thought, every memory of the love you felt, flood and overtake you with calm and peace to help you through the dark moments. Please go to for more encouraging scriptures and videos to help heal your broken heart 💔

We are sorry to hear of parkers passing. And did not know him. My mother Betty Ball worked for the chronicle for many years. And worked for John. And talked to us fondly of Dorothy. We lost Betty in november. And we know she would have been heart broken for all of you.Take care and may God bless.

To the Haire family, I am truly sorry and give my sincere condolences to you. I met Parker during my sophomore year at Michigan State. Throughout the past three semesters him and I shared many classes together and it was my pleasure to have him as a close friend of mine. Parker was one of the hardest working people I knew. He was an outstanding student and always came to class with enthusiasm. He always seemed to keep busy outside of class as well. Whether it was intramural sports or working as a ULA or spending time with his friends, Parker was doing it all. I could always look forward to coming to class Monday morning and asking Parker “how was your weekend” because he always had something fun and exciting to talk about. I was truly inspired by Parker; he was hard working, kind, and a good friend. May he rest in peace.
