Obituary

RANDALL PATRICK ADAMCZYK,
60, of Kingston, died unexpectedly Sunday, June 30, 2019 in his home. He was born January 24, 1959 in Cass City, the youngest of eight children and the seventh son born to John and Mihalina “Mary” (Lewicki) Adamczyk of Kingston.

Randy attended Kingston High School. As a young man, he worked as a brick and block mason in Detroit before being diagnosed with severe rheumatoid arthritis. Randy was a naturally talented and skilled mechanic and handyman. He could fix and craft just about anything and get it to work. Randy loved country music, western movies and his 1999 pick-up truck. He treasured items he found at yard sales. Randy enjoyed reminiscing and sharing his life experiences and stories with anyone who would take time to listen. He was very special to many people. Despite his own daily challenges, Randy was always concerned about the well being of others. He met everyone with a warm, contagious smile, a gentle greeting and a kind word.

Randy is survived by his sister, Nancy Barrios of Cass City; brothers: John Adamczyk of Caro; Ronald (LaWanda) Adamczyk of Kingston; Donald (Diane) Adamczyk of Marlette; Larry Adamczyk of Kingston; Lenny Adamczyk of Kington; sisters-in-law, Carol (Adamczyk) Marker of Kingston, Diane Adamczyk of Kingston; nieces and nephews: Kelly Ross, Michael Barrios, Kerry Rose, Chris Barrios, Sherry Billot, Johnny Adamczyk, Julie Walker, Rob Adamczyk, Kayla Decatur, Lisa Adamczyk, Cindy Leen, Carol Wenzlaff, Ronnie Adamczyk, Christina Harneck, Heather Adamczyk, Brian Adamczyk, Stephen Adamczyk, Greg Adamczyk; dear friends: Bill and Loretta Hacker; special people in his life: Adam Fetting, Rob Fetting, Scott Fetting, Jeremy Powell, Lyle Curry, Duane Wilcox, Aiden Bricker, Joe Bricker, Rudy Bricker. My dear baby brother...my heart is shattered! You were less than 5 pounds when you were born...mother had toxemia, the last rights and you were so tiny. When mother came home from the hospital, Aunt Jean put you in the crib at the foot of the bed - you woke up and cried and I was the only one nearby. Mother told me to pick you up. I was afraid - I told her I thought you'd break. I was only 10, but my mother guided me....put one hand under his back and the other under his butt. It'll be ok, she said. I picked you up and changed your diaper and I have tried to be there for you through the years.

God had a special plan for you here on earth - he chose you to face unimaginable pain and suffering and you faced that challenge each and every day - never asking for or seeking pity. People that knew you well, and those who simply met you once, have said what an inspirational person you were, how infectious your laugh was and how much you cared deeply for everyone. God must have felt you had accomplished all he had planned for you, and took you to his heavenly home so you can finally rest. Walk free in Heaven now, my dear baby brother....
