Obituary

RUDYARD KIPLING FAY,
81 of Kingston, went to be with his Lord Friday, May 29, 2020 in Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital, Saginaw. He was born August 17, 1938 in Columbus, Ohio to Charles and Marie (Bolin) Fay. He married Edith “Edie” Ann Hynes August 17, 1957 in Breckenridge.

Rudyard graduated from high school in Columbus, OH. He attended Bible College in Owosso and while studying there, he met Edie. Rudyard became the pastor of Pilgrim Holiness Church in Big Rapids in 1959 and throughout the years, served as a pastor in various Wesleyan churches. For sixteen years, he was the pastor in the Kingston Wesleyan Church. Rudyard was fond of the time spent with the men’s breakfast group. Strong and determined in their faith, he and Edie once went on a six country missionary trip to the Orient. Rudyard loved and continually prayed for his family, especially his beloved grandchildren. He enjoyed fresh air and being outdoors so much that he took great pleasure in yard work. Rudyard’s favorite and life long hobby was miniature electric trains. He had a large collection of miniatures of which he was proud to show.

Rudyard is survived by his daughter, Pam (Bill) Jozwiak of Waterford; grandchildren: Tara (Jasson) Eagle, Christina (David Brown) Fay, Corin Lovelace, Alicia Jozwiak, Jeff (Kim) Rinehart; twelve great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edie; son, Michael Fay; great grandson, Joseph; sister, Ruth Foster.

Graveside service held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 4, 2020 in Kingston Cemetery with Pastor Len Wyatt of Kingston Wesleyan Church officiating. This service will be webcast live on the Kranz Funeral Home website and archived to his obituary page. Memorials may be made to Wesleyan Church Corporation, Dept. of World Ministries or Hope for Children. Family and friends may share memories, prayers and photos with the family at www.kranzfuneralhome.com.

Pam, and family, we love your Father very much, and thankful for the wonderful memories of him and your mom, and you...
I talked with him on here just a few weeks ago, he reminded me of some things I had not remembered for years! So thankful
our paths crossed in our lives here on earth, and are looking forward to eternity together!

We send our sincerest condolences to his family. Our fondest memory of Pastor Fay is doing special music with him a few years ago at KWC. He sang while expertly playing his electric autoharp (not sure if that's what it's called) My husband and I were honored when he would ask is to acconpamy him in worship. -John and Melanie Hagerman
