DONALD GLENN ANDERSON Donald G. Anderson, 57, of Elkton, died unexpectedly Thursday, March 18, 2004 in Bay City Dialysis Center, Bay City. He was born August 2, 1946 in Detroit to Willie and Carrie (Jones) Anderson. He married Carol Ann Valente August 7, 1965 in Warren. Don worked for Daimler Chrysler as a Journeyman Machine Repairman, retiring in 1994 after 29 years. He enjoyed hunting, traveling, camping and cooking. Don played Blue Grass on the Dulcimer. He also enjoyed NASCAR and photography. Don and Carol recently moved back to Michigan from Virginia to be near their family. Don is survived by his wife: Carol; children: Linda M. (William III) Richardson of North Branch, Donald A. (Dianna) Anderson of Lynn, Diane (Frank Jr.) Sparks of Warren; grandchildren: Adam Richardson, Kayla Richardson, Grace Anderson, Abigail Anderson, Donald G. Anderson, Frankie Sparks, Brendan Sparks, Emily Anderson, Sidney Sparks; brothers: James Anderson of Jupiter, FL, Jack (Janice) Anderson of Vincennes, IN, Daniel (Rose) Anderson of Pinehurst, NC; sister, Thelma (Ernest) Phillips of Deer Lodge, TN; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by two brothers; Bobby Lynn Anderson and Willie Dean Anderson. Funeral services to be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 22, 2004 in Novesta Church of Christ with Chuck Emmert officiating. Interment is in Novesta Township Cemetery. Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m., Saturday, March 20, 2004 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 21, 2004
