Annette L. Pinney, 90, of Cass City, died Sunday, March 15, 2026 in McLaren Port Huron Hospital. She was born November 7, 1935 to Frederick and Lottie (West) Pinney.
Annette graduated from Cass City High School. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from MacMurray College in Illinois. She worked as a bookkeeper at Pinney Bank until her retirement. Annette was very interested in learning about different cultures. She enjoyed traveling the world, especially Australia, her favorite place to visit. Annette was a passionate and gifted artist. She participated in art sessions on the computer with different artists on Zoom, sometimes joining three class in a week. Annette once had the opportunity to travel to Costa Rico with an art group. She loved music; she was a self-taught pianist, played the viola, and performed with the orchestra as a violinist at Interlochen. Annette is preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 20, 2026 in First Presbyterian Church, Cass City with Rev. Kim Strunz officiating. Interment will be in Elkland Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church.
