 ANTONIU “TONY” STROIA

Antoniu Stroia, 84, of Ellington Township, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 17, 2025 in United Hospice Service of Marlette. He was born December 22, 1940 in Bobohalma, Tarnaveni, Romania to Ion and Anica Stroia. He immigrated to the United States on April 19, 1969. He married Rodica Ban on November 4, 1974 in the Detroit Romanian Baptist Church.

Tony loved the Lord, his family, and all of the animals on his property. He was a very active member of First Romanian Baptist Church of Troy, where he served various roles.

Tony is survived by his wife, Rodica; daughters: Ramona (Herb) Doberstein, Carmen Stroia; beloved grandchildren: Sophia Doberstein, Henry Doberstein.

Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2025 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City.  Interment in Ellington Township Cemetery.
