RAY ARMSTEAD JR.
Ray Armstead, Jr., 66 of Conroe, TX formerly of Cass City died Sunday, April 1, 2018. He was born July 11, 1951 in Detroit, the eldest son of Ray and Betty (Shagena) Armstead, Sr.
Ray lived many years in Cass City and owned Armstead Accounting. He was a former Mayor of Cass City. Ray was a businessman and owned many buildings and properties in the surrounding area. He traveled the country as a computer software consultant for various businesses and has lived in Conroe, TX for the past ten years.
Ray is survived by his sons: Aaron Armstead; Dr. Adam (Denyse) Armstead; grandsons: Miller Conrad Armstead; Hayes Thomas Armstead; Deacon Mathew Armstead; Wright Joseph Armstead; his mother, Betty Armstead; three brothers: Randy (Sue) Armstead; Greg (Shari) Armstead; Mike (Susan) Armstead; eight nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Ray Armstead, Sr. on September 22, 2002.
Graveside service will be held with interment next to his father, grandparents, and great grandparents in Elkland Township Cemetery, Cass City at a later date. Family and friends may share memories, prayers and stories with the family at www.kranzfuneralhome.com.
