NOLAN VAN ARMSTRONG,
60, of Cass City, died unexpectedly Tuesday, July 30, 2013 in his home. He was born April 4, 1953 in Bangor, ME to John Harold and Stella Kathleen (Scott) Armstrong.
Nolan enjoyed photography and was an avid reader.
Nolan is survived by his mother, Stella Armstrong; sister, Brenda (William) Wideman of Lexington; brothers: Dana (Janice) Armstrong of Brighton, Jerry Armstrong of Pensacola, FL, Kim Armstrong of Vancouver, WA, Guy Armstrong of Portland, OR, Clay (Annette) Armstrong of North Branch; brother-in-law, Richard Bradshaw of Grand Rapids; many nieces and nephews; dear friend, Tara Powell of Cass City. He is preceded in death by his brother, Leonard Armstrong and sister, Nora Bradshaw.
Graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 23, 2013 at his graveside in Elkland Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Charity of the Donor's Choice. Family and friends may share memories, prayers and stories with the family at www.kranzfuneralhome.com.
