BEVERLY JANE HERON

Beverly J. Heron, 87, of Kingston died Thursday, October 8, 2026 in Aspire Marlette Long-Term Care Facility. She was born September 11, 1939 in Detroit to Everett and Virginia Harrison. She married Floyd Jack Heron, Jr. on May 3, 1969 in Kingston United Methodist Church. He died March 1, 2017.

Beverly graduated from East Commerce High School. She was employed as a secretary and treasurer for the Village of Kingston for thirty years. Beverly also worked with Floyd as a secretary for Heron Accounting and Tax Service. She enjoyed reading and completing jigsaw puzzles. Beverly was a member of Kingston Community Church.

Beverly is survived by her children: Ed (Eustolia) Heron, Janet (Dale) Sullins, Ruth Heron; Floyd’s children: Michelle (Michael Duffy) Heron, Jack (Donna) Heron, Scott Heron; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; brother, Edward (Connie) Harrison. Beverly is preceded in death by several loved ones.

Funeral service held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 13, 2026 in Kingston Community Church with Pastor Carol Freeland officiating. Interment in Kingston Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.
