JACQUELINE BLAKE,
58, of Cass City, died suddenly, Monday, March 30, 2020 in her son and daughter-in-law’s home. She was born November 12, 1961 in Selma, AL to Louis and Gertha (Dawson) Pressley.
As a child, Jackie’s father served in the U.S. Army and Air Force. They lived in many different locations including: Germany, Panama Canal, Hawaii and California. California was her favorite but she also enjoyed living in Cass City, except for the cold winter weather. Jackie loved her three grandsons, they kept her going and she was at her happiest being with them. Family was important to Jackie and she spoke on the phone with her brothers and sister almost every day. A homebody, she played BINGO on her phone and was fond of watching Lifetime Channel programs. She enjoyed a good drink, especially while watching The Golden Girls and Three’s Company reruns on television.
Jackie is survived by her son, Quentin (Verda) Pressley of Cass City, grandsons: Zackary, Peyton, Logan; brothers: Louis Pressley of Orlando, FL; Dexter Pressley of Panama City, FL; Charles Pressley of Panama City, FL; sister, Jenice Puckett of Panama City, FL. She is preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Quincy; brother, Jimmy Pressley.
