KEITH ELTON BROWN,
88, of Cass City went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 23, 2022 in Saginaw Senior Care and Rehab Center. He was born January 27, 1934 in Cass City to Elton and Madelene (Shagene) Brown. He married Joan Muegge in 1962 in Trenton, she died in 1997. He married Elsie “Peggy” Gorham Pavalock in 1982 in Lakeland, FL, she died in 2000. He married Daneen Schulman on August 4, 2001 in Woodhaven.

Keith attended Sand Valley School in Cass City and Trenton Schools, where he was later employed as a janitor. He served in the United States Army in Japan in early Vietnam. Keith was an active member of Disabled American Veterans. In his younger years, Keith enjoyed drag racing with his nephews in Ohio. He worked as a truck driver with Detroit Edison. Yearning to be near the country again, he moved his family back to Cass City where they owned and operated a small store, Brown’s Grocery. Keith loved the Lord, his family, traveling, and visiting friends. He was a former member of Woodhaven Bible Church and most recently of Shabbona Riverside Church. Keith was fond of tinkering with old cars and tending to the beauty of his flower garden. He enjoyed his coffee while visiting with friends and family.

Keith is survived by his wife, Daneen; daughter, Kaylene (Brian) Vandemark of Deford; step-son, Samuel (Carrie) Schulman of Woodhaven; grandchildren: Bridgett Vandemark, Brenda Griffith, Andrew Vandemark, Alexis Brown, Austin Brown, Arik Brown, Jonathan Schulman, Hannah Schulman; great grandchildren: Trinity, Jacob, Karly, Brody; sister, Janet Digue of Brownstown. He is preceded in death by his son, Karl Brown; brothers: Bernard Brown, Muriel Brown, Jerry Brown.

A celebration of life held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 28, 2023 in Shabbona Riverside Church with Pastor John McCormick officiating. Memorials may be made to Shabbona Riverside Church or Disabled American Veterans. Interment will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly.
