ARNOLD JAMES "ARNIE" BUNDSCHUH
74, of Caro died Friday, September 11, 2020 in McLaren Lapeer Region.
He was born June 16, 1946 in Flint. He married Jean Ann Manchester June 4, 1966 in Burton.

Arnie was a proud Navy veteran, having served in country during the Vietnam era. He worked as a welder for Chevrolet Metal Fabricating in Flint and retired after 30 years. Arnie had his own blacksmithing shop set up at home and continued to work on welding projects for those in need. Together he and Jean loved spending time at their cottage in DeTour Village at the most eastern tip of the Upper Peninsula. Arnie’s hobbies included outdoor sports such as hunting and fishing. He canned homemade salsa from the vegetables that were grown in his garden. Arnie’s grandchildren were most important to him and he was always happy to spend time with them, no matter what they were doing.

Arnold is survived by his wife, Jean; son, Todd (Tina) Bundschuh of Kingston; daughters: Terrie (Dan) Ill of Kingston; Jilann (Owen) Dibble of Kingston; grandchildren: Whitney (Evan) Laurie, Colton Bundschuh, Allison Bundschuh, Max Dewar, Gaven Dibble, Collen Dibble; great-grandchildren: Porter Laurie, Reece Laurie, Millie Laurie; his mother, Elaine Davis of Burton; brother, Tom (Ann) Bundschuh of Burton; sisters: Deborah (John) Glasstetter of Grand Blanc; Cindy York of Colorado; aunt, Ellen Carpenter of Burton; special cousins: Charlie Craig of Fenton, Nancy Carpenter of Burton. He is preceded in death by his stepfather, John York.
