CHRISTINE BETH LITTLE
Christine B. Little, 67, of Cass City, died unexpectedly on Monday, May 25, 2026 in her home. She was born August 29, 1958 in Cass City to Stanley and Wanda (Bard) VanVliet.
Christine graduated from Cass City High School. She worked as a certified nursing assistant for Tendercare of Cass City. Christine then began her career at the Tuscola County Medical Care Facility, where she was employed as a CNA and the director of activities before retiring after thirty-five years. She enjoyed bowling, quilting, and sewing. Christine loved camping and spending time on the beach and the water. Dogs were her favorite pet and she raised Dalmatians. Christine looked forward to the Fourth of July Freedom Festival and was very proud of her family members that served in the armed forces. She was the epitome of American patriotism. Christine was also proud of her grandchildren. She was their biggest fan at all of their sporting events and activities. Christine’s family meant everything to her and spending time with them was her greatest joy.
Christine is survived by her son: Joshua (Amy) Little of Essexville; daughter, Ashley (Nick) Chippi of Cass City; grandchildren: Brooks, Wyatt, Grady, Eden, Elliana; brother, Richard (Mary) VanVliet; sister, Kathy Nichols; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; ex-husband and friend, Dennis Little; sister, Susan (Doug) Herringshaw; brother-in-law, Dallas Nichols.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 2, in Novesta Church of Christ, Cass City with Brad Speirs officiating. Memorials may be made the Cass City V.F.W. Post #3644.
