LINDA SUE COOPER
Linda S. Cooper, 67, of Vassar formerly of Cass City died unexpectedly Wednesday, July 19, 2017 in Covenant Health Care System, Harrison Campus, Saginaw. She was born December 29, 1949 in Saginaw to William and Dorothy (Stiles) Schram. She married Keith Ross Cooper May 20, 1989 in Skidway Lake.
Linda graduated from Cass City High School. She worked as a program aide in Tuscola County Mental Health Facility in Caro and later in Bay Arenac Mental Health retiring after 19 years. Linda enjoyed playing the piano and watching her favorite afternoon television soap operas, especially Days of Our Lives. She traveled the country, visiting cemeteries while researching family genealogy. Linda truly loved her grandchildren and was always present, no matter the distance for sporting events and any of their activities.
Linda is survived by her husband, Keith; her daughters: Jody Spencer of San Jose, CA; Melisa (John) Mills of Springfield, MO; Heather (Leyton) Clark of Hillsville, VA; Holly (Kirk) Paulson of Westland; Hope Thomas of Summersville, W.VA; son, William “BJ” (Bobbi) Spencer of Cheyenne, WY; grandchildren: Michaela Barnes, Drake Spencer, Magdelaine Mueller, Zoey Mills; many special nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: David Schram, Irvin Schram, Leslie Schram.
Memorial service held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 22, 2017 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City with Brad Speirs of Novesta Church of Christ officiating. Memorials may be made to Family Discretionary Fund.
