KENNETH JAMES COTTON

Dear friends, family and loved ones; please know that today, Friday, April 19, 2019 I am in the arms of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and there is nowhere in the world that I would rather be. I know that my years on earth probably seemed much too short, but my days were always in the hands of Christ. He appointed today as my day to finally see Him face to face. It is now my privilege, honor, and joy to be held in the arms of my Savior, looking into His eyes, and knowing this is what I have lived for and died for. Although cancer may have taken my body from this earth, Christ got my new body, heart and soul; and now I get to spend eternity with Him, knowing no more pain, no more cancer; just me and my Savior.

I know there will be grieving, because "he died too young", but don't hurt for me. I am where I've always wanted to be. I leave behind my loving wife Wendy, my sons: Jordan (Margeaux), Joe (Heidi), Daniel (Cheyanne) and Caleb; my brothers: Mike (Vanetta), Steve (Phyllis); my sister, Patty; three grandchildren: Jacen, Rose, Elijah; many nieces and nephews. At the same time, I am also so grateful now to be reunited with my Dad and Mom, Tom and Judy.

I have been blessed beyond measure in this life, and am so very grateful for everything that the Lord has given me. He has provided for me in every way, and even though my life has ended on a note that may have seemed terrible, I see nothing but blessings all around me. I hope that you find Christ to be sufficient in your life as well. He is good and He loves you so much.

Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2019 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City with Pastor Marc Herron of First Baptist Church of Caro officiating. Interment will be in Indianfields Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to The Power Company Kids Club, Pontiac, MI. There will be a wonderful gospel service, and a little bit about my life as well, with some music to enjoy, and an opportunity to fellowship together. If you are reading this, I want you to know that I love you, and thank you, and I am so very grateful that God put you in my life. You have been a blessing to me. Family and friends may share memories, prayers and photos with the family at www.kranzfuneralhome.com.
