RAYMOND JAMES "JIM" CUDDINGTON,
51, of Caro died unexpectedly Saturday, July 4, 2015 in McLaren Hospital, Flint. He was born September 8, 1963 in Wayne County the oldest of four children born to Nancy M. Cuddington. He married Bonnie Lynn Wutzke August 24, 2002 in Novesta Church of Christ.
Raymond loved to drive. As a young man he received his CDL and drove truck around the country with his Uncle Burt. He continued to drive on a smaller scale for United Health Services in Caro, delivering health supplies for many years. He also worked for Erla's Grocery Store as a meat delivery driver and currently for Walsh's Meat Packing in Pigeon. Raymond loved amusement parks. He especially loved riding the roller coasters and the big swings. Raymond enjoyed fishing and traveling. He was a loyal Detroit Lions fan and MSU sports fan particularly MSU football and MSU basketball. Raymond collected all types of penguin memorabilia. Raymond was very patriotic, fittingly he died within minutes of Flint's fireworks finale July 4th.
Raymond is survived by his wife, Bonnie; children: Guy Nanney of Newberry, Nicholas (Stephanie Gilbert) Nanney of Big Rapids; grandchildren: Willow, Gabriel, Wyatt and Oliver; mother, Nancy Cuddington of Caro; sisters: Anna Hemingway of Hazel Park, Sandra (Dennis) Sweet of Fort Myers, FL, Becky (Michael) Cronis of Colorado Springs, CO; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his step-father, Raymond Davis.
Memorial service held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, July 11, 2015 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City with Brad Speirs of Novesta Church of Christ officiating. Memorials may be made to Family Discretionary Fund.
