CINDY RENEE CUMMINGS,
56, of Mayville, died following a short illness Tuesday, March 20, 2018 in her home with her family by her side. She was born October 22, 1961 to Thomas Edwin and Donna Mae (Reynolds) Irvine. She married Darren Raymond Cummings September 12, 1997 in Saginaw.
Cindy worked as an in-home aid for Tyson House Adult Foster Care in Caro and Circle Home Adult Foster Care in Fairgrove. She worked as a cook at Marilyn’s, then Bill and Marty’s 50s Diner and last for Fowler Center. Cindy enjoyed quilting, making quilts for many family members. She also enjoyed playing BINGO, visiting the casino, and camping in Wesleyan Woods Campground. Most important to Cindy was spending time with her family.
Cindy is survived by her husband, Darren; children: Janie Irvine of Mayville, Ketan (Alison) Cummings of Marlette, Cody (Ashley) Cummings of Davison; mother: Donna (Jerry) Irvine of Mayville; father, Tom (Suzie) Irvine of Prescott; granddaughters: Shaylyn, Hailey, Evolet, Evangeline; grandson, Dominic; mother-in-law, Bonnie Cummings of Mayville; sisters: Debra Manning of Lakeland, FL, Toni (Mike) Craig of Caro; brother, Thomas (Carol) Irvine of Caro; brothers-in-law: Mark (Chris) Cummings of Wilmot, Gary (Julie) Cummings of Sturgis; several step brothers and step sisters; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her son, Dustin Cummings; granddaughter, Cheyenne Irvine; father-in-law, Charles Cummings.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 24, 2018 in Kranz Funeral Home, Kingston with Pastor Gary Cummings of The Bread of Life Full Gospel Church, Bronson, officiating. Interment will be in Kingston Cemetery. Pallbearers for Cindy will be: Ketan Cummings, Cody Cummings, Joshua Irvine, Jake Irvine, Chad Spencer and Cody Irvine.
