KATHRYN "KAT" LYNN DENNIS,
35, of Caro, died following a short illness Monday, May 25, 2015 in Fisher Convalescent Home, Mayville. She was born August 26, 1979 in Lapeer the first of two daughters born to Roger and Charleen (Arquette) Dennis.
Kathryn graduated from Mayville High School in 1997. She received her Associates degree in Business from Davenport University in 2007. Kat later attended Michigan Technology Services and received her computer TIA A+ certification in 2010. She played Varsity Basketball, Volleyball and Softball while in high school. Kat was a loyal Detroit Tiger Baseball fan. She also enjoyed Karate and was working on completing the requirements for her blue belt. She recently received her Ministerial license October 31, 2014. Kat created Trinity Computing LLC which she ran from 2006 until 2012. She later worked for Great Lakes Cash in Caro. Kat enjoyed drawing and photography.
Kathryn is survived by her parents: Roger and Charleen Dennis of Caro; sisters: Samantha Dennis of Caro, Diane Reese of Mayville; grandfather, Bruce Dennis, Jr. of Caro; grandmother, Shirley Arquette of Caro; two nieces; several aunts, uncles and cousins. She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Joan Dennis; grandfather, Joseph Arquette.
Funeral service held 12:00 p.m. Friday, May 29, 2015 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City with Pastor Christy L. Bouverette of Refiner's Fire Ministries, Caro, officiating. Interment will be in St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery, Bach. Memorials may be made to Family Discretionary Fund.
