DONALD ROY WILDMAN
Donald R. Wildman, 81, of Cass City, died Wednesday, August 30, 2023 in Covenant Medical Center, Saginaw. He was born February 10, 1942 in Gagetown the first of three children born to Roy and Martha (Witzke) Wildman. He married Carol Ann Campbell on February 18, 1967 in Fairgrove Presbyterian Church. She died January 28, 2017.
Don attended Gagetown Elementary School and graduated from Cass City High School in 1960. He was drafted into military service in 1964 where he served in the U.S. Army as an Officer’s cook in Fort Knox, KY. Don was honorably discharged in 1966 following an automobile accident. He was employed by Herron Builders as a finish carpenter and also worked as a design maker for Richland Steel. Don was an avid hunter and craftsman, but family was always the most important thing in his life. He was a devoted congregate of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Cass City.
Don is survived by his daughters: Kimberly Wildman of Cass City, Katherine Ha of Portage; grandchildren: Jonathon Wildman, Caitlynn Ha, Kelsee Ha; sister, Donna Fritz of Elkton; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carol; his parents, Roy and Martha Wildman; brother, Leo “Bud” (Molly) Wildman of Gagetown.
Memorial service held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 6, 2023 in Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Cass City with Rev. Steve Bagnall officiating. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial to Highland Pines School, 1381 Cleaver Road Caro, MI 48723.
