WILLIAM ARTHUR ERLA,
55, of Bay City, formerly of Cass City died unexpectedly Thursday, November 28, 2019 in Cass City. He was born October 4, 1964 in Cass City to Donald Joseph and Mary Lou (Dungey) Erla.
Bill graduated from Cass City High School with the class of 1983. He briefly worked for Sebewaing Industries. In his younger years, Bill enjoyed hunting and fishing. He enjoyed watching the Detroit Lions and U of M Wolverines on television. Bill will be remembered by his family as being a terrific cook. He loved spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren.
Bill is survived by his son, Tyler (Brooke) Erla of Cass City; daughter, Andrea Erla (fiancé, Matt Watson) of Bad Axe; grandchildren: Braylin Erla, Oakley Erla, baby Erla on the way, Peyton Soule, Carter Soule; siblings: Dave Erla of Beeville, Texas; Don (Cathy) Erla of Caro; Beth (Guy) Howard of Cass City; Amy (Scott) Hartel of Cass City; Bob (Dawn) Erla of Cass City; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents.
