MICHAEL JOHN FALATKO,
68, of Cass City, reached his final destination Thursday, October 8, 2020 in United Hospice of Marlette Residence Center, Marlette. He was born May 1, 1952 in New Castle, PA to John and Joyce (Pavkovich) Falatko. He married Judith Ann Call May 31, 1975 in West Pittsburg, PA.
Michael received a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts and Sciences from Youngstown State University for his undergrad education, he pursued and graduated from their nursing program with an Associate’s Degree as a Registered Nurse and later graduated from Ohio State University with a Master’s Degree in hospital administration. He and Judy moved to Cass City in 2006 to pursue his career as Chief Executive Officer until 2014 for Hills and Dales General Hospital of Cass City. Michael was avid golfer and grew up appreciating outdoor sports such as hunting and fishing. He will be remembered as an intelligent, generous man with a passion for the support and betterment of rural healthcare. Michael was a man of faith who honored God and his country. He was a faithful, loving husband, father and grandfather.
Michael is survived by his wife, Judith; children: Michelle (Chris) Stimson of Lansing; Melissia (Brian) Bayan of Hinsdale, IL; John (Stephanie) Falatko of Fort Wayne, IN; grandchildren: Annemarie Stimson, Mia Bayan, Mattilyn Bayan, Nora Falatko, Benjamin Falatko; father, John Michael Falatko of New Port Richey, FL; sister-in-law: Robin Falatko of West Pittsburgh, PA; nieces and nephews: Johnna (William) Pocoa, Katilyn Falatko, Jared Falatko, Heather (Wayne) Ferrell, Rudy Vellone. He is preceded in death by his mother, Joyce; brother, David Falatko; granddaughter, Angel Bayan.
Memorial service held 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 16, 2020 in Faith Gospel Tabernacle of Bad Axe with Pastor Michael Beeler officiating.
