Janette L. Ferguson, 70,of Marlette died Tuesday, November 26, 2002 in Covenant Cooper, Saginaw. She was born January 18, 1932 to Paul and Mary (Poirier) Lobb in Detroit. She married Dugald Ferguson July 28, 1954 in Wyandotte. He died May 31, 2000.
Janette attended the St. Columbkille Catholic Church. She was involved in church activities. She liked to read, play bingo and loved animals. Janette loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Janette is survived by her daughters: Celine M. (Randy) Becking of Bad Axe, Pauline Carter of Marlette; grandchildren: Erica, Melissa, Krista, Charles, and Michael Becking; Austin, Nicole, Tressa and Felicity Carter; brothers: Paul (Mary Lou) Lobb of Rapid City, Harvey (Joyce) Lobb of Wyandotte, Ervin (Barb) Lobb of Gibraltar; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her sisters and their husbands: Elsie and Bud Brown, Eileen and Ed Sherman and Edna Martin.
Funeral services held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 30, 2002 at St. Columbkille Catholic Church, Sheridan Corner with Rev. T.J. Fleming officiating. Interment is in St. Columbkille Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Family Discretionary Fund.
Visitation: 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday November 29, 2002
