79, of Cass City, died following a lengthy illness Sunday, April 26, 2020 in Tuscola County Medical Care Facility of Caro. He was born September 26, 1940 in Cass City to Louis and Irene Mildred (Orban) Franks, Jr.
John worked for Chrysler Automotive in its tool and dye department. He served his country in the United States Air Force from 1959 to 1963.
John is survived by his brother, Peter (Joann) Franks of Lake Orion; sister, Kathryn (Ken) Hageman of West Branch; four nephews and a niece. He is preceded in death by his parents.
