Gayl Ann Patera

                                                                   GAYL ANN PATERA

     Gayl A. Patera, 67, of Cass City went home to our heavenly Father on January 10, 2024 in her home surrounded by family and dear friends.  She was born September 29, 1956 to Harvey Alger and Fern Lorraine (Langley) McCreedy and was raised in the Colwood area.  She married Richard R. Patera on August 24, 1991.   
     Gayl was very humble and loved the Lord.  Her faith was very strong.     
     Gayl leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Rich; son, Kristopher (Melissa) Patera of Berlin, WI; brothers:  Mitch (Sharon) McCreedy, Bob (Gail) McCreedy, Jim McCreedy, Bill (Toni) McCreedy, Tim (Kim Neuman); sisters:  Jean McCreedy, Diana (Kurt) Mika; brother-in-law, Randy (Laurie) Patera; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and very special friends.  She is preceded in death by her parents.  
     Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 27, 2024 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City with Pastor Mike Smith of Lifesong Church, Snover officiating. Memorials may be made to Lifesong Church, Snover.
