Al Graham, 69, of Cass City passed away following a lengthy illness Saturday, April 8, 2017 in his home with his family by his side. He was born March 29, 1948 in Highland Park to Orville Leonard and Dorothy Mae (Shanks) Graham. He married LuAnn Repshinska May 5, 1987 in Las Vegas, NV, uniting their families.
Al grew up in Port Huron, graduating from Port Huron High School in 1966. He served in the U. S. Navy in Vietnam during the Vietnam war. Al worked as a truck driver for Yellow Freight Company for many years. He moved to Cass City in 1986 where he retired. Throughout his life, Al enjoyed playing baseball, coaching his sons' little league teams, and watching his children and grandchildren participate in sports. Al was an avid University of Michigan fan and collector of U of M sports memorabilia. He spent his summers camping and visiting with neighbors on his front porch. Al was loved by everyone who knew him.
Al is survived by his wife, LuAnn; children: Gary (Sue) Graham of Sarasota, FL; Greg (Terri) Graham of Naples, FL; Stephanie (Michael) Anderson of Bad Axe; grandchildren: Michael (Courtney), Macie, Tanner, Kayle, Riley and Owen Graham, Erin McCallum; brother, Bruce Graham of Port Huron; nieces: Stacey (Tom) Klemzak, Danielle Graham; sister-in-law, Diane Repshinska of Cass City. Alan is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Terry Graham; nephew, Joey Graham; father-in-law, Bill Repshinska; mothers-in-law: Marjory Repshinska, Beverly Repshinska.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 13, 2017 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City with Brad Speirs of Novesta Church of Christ officiating. Interment will be in Elkland Township Cemetery. Pallbearers for Mr. Graham will be: Greg Graham, Gary Graham, Michael Graham, Bruce Graham, Michael Anderson and Paul Bliss. Memorials may be made to Novesta Church of Christ.
