 HARRIET MARIE PETERS

Harriet M. Peters, 85, of Cass City, died Saturday, June 7, 2025 in Tuscola County Medical Care Facility, Caro. She was born January 12, 1940 in Bad Axe to James Alton and Elva (Heron) Young. She married Larry Virgil Peters on April 28, 1967 in Verona. He died July 19, 2018.

Harriet graduated from Marlette High School in 1958. She helped her husband Larry by promoting new products for his business Kingston Distributing and later worked as a cashier for Coachlight Pharmacy. Harriet and Larry loved traveling to various destinations around the United States. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Harriet is survived by brother-in-law, Randy (Julie) Peters of Sherwood; sister-in-law, Mary Lou Kerr of Bay City; several nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends; caregivers: Robert (Lona)

Piaskowski and Tom (Cindy) Mellendorf. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-one years, Larry; her parents; brothers-in-law: Dwaine (Helen) Peters, Ronald (Nancy) Peters, Gordon Peters, LaVerne Peters, Roger (Judy) Peters, Larry Peters; sister-in-law, Patricia (Howard) Peters.

Graveside service held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 11, 2025, in Elkland Township Cemetery with Sam Leppert, funeral celebrant officiating. Memorials may be made to Cass City V.F.W. Post #3644 or Cass River Pet Friendz.
