DOROTHY LYNN HUND
Dorothy L. Hund, 68, of Cass City, died Saturday, June 9, 2018 following a brave battle with cancer in her home. She was born May 17, 1950 in Cass City to John Peter and Lorraine Marie (Guigar) Hund.
Dorothy graduated from Ubly High School in 1968. Dorothy enjoyed her children and all their accomplishments. They were her life and still are. She was employed by Walbro and General Cable and later as a delivery driver for United Parcel Service for 23 years retiring May 2010. She enjoyed reading romance novels and working on jigsaw puzzles and Find-A-Word puzzles. She loved the thrill of riding her Harley Davidson motorcycle with her life partner of twenty years, Gary J. Susalla. Her first bike was a Honda Rebel in 1997. From then on, she rode Harley Davidsons and enjoyed life, wintering in Florida. Together they toured all over the United States. They saw the Smokey Mountains; Bar Harbor, Maine; Grand Canyon, Arizona; Sturges, South Dakota; where she saw Devils Tower, Wyoming; Mt. Rushmore and was very impressed with Crazy Horse. Her last trip was the HOLLYWOOD sign in Los Angeles, CA in 2017.
Dorothy is survived by her sons: Paul (Mary) Pawloski of Olivet; Chris (Dede) Pawloski of Cass City; Nathan (Jen Weldon) Pawloski of Marshall; six grandchildren: Chandler John, Jordan Diana, Terrin Rose, Anthony Michael, Lauren Elizabeth, Brianna Lynn; brothers: Richard (Theresa) Hund of Clarkston and Raymond (Delilah) Hund of Plano, TX; sisters: Kathryn (Paul Augusta) Wojtalewicz of Ortonville, Marilyn (Thomas) Osentoski of Davison, Janice (Robert) Neeb of Bad Axe, Denise (Daniel) Kubacki of Argyle.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Donald Hund; brother-in-law, Melvin Wojtalewicz.
Funeral Mass held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 16, 2018 in Our Lady Consolata Parish, St. Pancratius Catholic Church, Cass City with Rev. Christian Tabares officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Family Discretionary Fund. Family and friends may share memories, prayers and stories with the family at www.kranzfuneralhome.com.
