ALBERT WILFRED JACOT,
86, of Deford, died Tuesday, July 2, 2019 in his home. He was born February 13, 1933 at home in Shay Lake, Dayton Township the youngest of seven children born to Ernest Rudolph and Mary Ellen (Kelley) Jacot. He married Marie Louise Redifer September 20, 1952 in Mayville. She died December 10, 2013.

Albert graduated from Kingston High School with the class of 1952. Albert and Marie were high school sweethearts who celebrated 61 years together. He served in the U.S. Army with the 553rd Field Artillery Unit from 1953 thru 1955. Albert worked as a machinist working in various shops in Sanilac and Tuscola Counties. He was an avid reader. Albert enjoyed playing cards with family. He was a quiet and gentle family man. He never made an enemy. Albert was very proud of the fact that his parents were early settlers of Dayton Township, Tuscola County. He has lived in Tuscola County his entire life.

Albert is survived by his children: Kenneth (Dixie) Jacot of Cove, AR, Cynthia (Ted) Birnbaum of Saginaw, Michal (Laurie) Jacot of East Tawas; grandchildren: Christine Juers, Candice Robinson, Victoria Jacot, Liberty Jacot, John Paul Jacot, Gregory Jacot, Brady Jacot; great grandchildren: Carissa, Isabelle, Alex and Chace. Albert is preceded in death by all his brothers and sisters: Lyle Jacot, Keith Jacot, Carmen Jacot, Frank Jacot, Ernel Miller and Loretta Lester.

Memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Charity of the Donor’s Choice. Family and friends may share memories, prayers and stories with the family at www.kranzfuneralhome.com.
