EDWARD DANIEL KARAS
64, of Harbor Beach, died Tuesday, March 29, 2022 in his home. He was born April 5, 1957 in Dearborn to Daniel and Betty (Green) Karas. He married Coleen Louise (Martin) Karas in Eastpointe and they enjoyed forty years together.
Edward worked at Detroit Arsenal Tank painting tanks. After the business closed, he continued working as an auto body painter. He enjoyed music, sports, and going for long drives. Edward was also fond of visiting friends, playing with his dog Lucy and relaxing at the beach. He had a great sense of humor and loved making everyone laugh. Edward could play a mean game of rummy and euchre. Occasionally, he would let his wife win a game or two.
Edward is survived by his wife, Coleen of Harbor Beach; sons: Thomas Edward Karas of Harbor Beach, James Edward Karas of Harbor Beach; granddaughter, Maddison Clark; brother, Daniel Karas; sister, Sue Deaton; other family: Bruce Wojtoviets, Keven Wojtoviets, John Perhogan, Ronald Perhogan, Roger Thompson, and many others. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Fred Karas, John Karas.
