KATHLEEN ELIZABETH ROSE MASON

     Kathi E. R. Mason, 67, of Cass City, died Thursday, March 27, 2026 in her home. She was born July 13, 1958 in Ohio to Richard Allen Luke and Marilyn Swingle. She married James Edward Mason on February 14, 1983 in Sarasota, FL.

     Kathi worked at the White Tower & Buttery Restaurant in Sarasota, FL. Later, she managed an office for Graph Tec Industry for Gener Motors and Chrysler. Kathi and James dedicated their lives to helping others succeed in their lives by opening their hearts and home to as many as they could over their years together, including fostering children. Kathi enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, as well as, her arts and crafts. She will forever be remembered, loved, and missed by so many.

     Kathi is survived by her husband of forty-three years, Jim; children: Jamie L. Mason-Stewart, Rocky A. Mason, James R. Mason, Dakota L. Mason; siblings: Lisa (Shayne) Stone, Heidi (Paul “Otie”) Elliott, Mike (Pam) Brownell, Denny (Donna) Brownell, Tim (Tracy) Mason, Mike Luke, Gail Rathburn, Teresa Weaver, Donald Rathburn Jr.; cousins: Betty Luke, John Luke; many precious grandchildren and Nana to so many more: the McMurray, Bewly, McAdams, Stewart, Dow, Dutcher, and Phillips families.

     Per Kathi’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
