KAY MARIE GUINTHER
Kay M. Guinther, 73, of Cass City died unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 4, 2026 in Covenant HealthCare, Saginaw. She was born February 6, 1953 in Cass City to L.J. Francis and Delphine (Stock) Dillon. She married Thomas Brent Guinther on July 29, 1972 in Cass City United Methodist Church.
A 1971 graduate of Cass City High School, Kay went on to work locally at Kritzman’s, Coachlight, and the Paint Store. She was a passionate supporter of her husband Tom’s musical endeavors, always cheering on his bands, Windfall and the Tom and Jerry Show. In her earlier years, Kay enjoyed her local bowling league. She was a member of Our Lady Consolata Parish and volunteered with the Hills and Dales Hospital Auxiliary.
Kay’s primary devotion was always her family. For many years, she selflessly helped care for her mother and mother-in-law, and Kay was always the first to step up whenever her loved ones needed her. She cherished her lifelong high school friendships and loved gathering with them. Among Kay’s greatest joys were shopping and baking with her grandchildren, creating beautiful memories they will carry forever. She will be remembered as a generous, selfless soul who gave everything to the family she loved so deeply.
