John Keller

JOHN PETER KELLER, JR.,
79, of Sandusky, died unexpectedly in his home Wednesday, November 27, 2013. He was born March 15, 1934 in Cass City to John and Eleanor (Bauer) Keller.

John graduated from Cass City High School. He served in the U.S. Army. He earned his BS after returning from his military service. John worked for Dow Chemical during his college years. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing cards and visiting with family and friends over coffee.

John is survived by his sisters: Rosalie (Louis) Walsh of Ubly, Betty Ann (Ozzie Hanold) Bell of Chicago, IL, Joyce (Don) Crouse of Spring Hill, FL; brothers: Carl (Barb) Keller of Snover, Frank (Nancy) Keller of Cass City; many nieces and nephews. John will also be remembered by Rosie and all his caregivers at R and R Adult Foster Care Home in Sandusky. He is preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Marion and Robert Brown.

Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 30, 2013 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City with Rev. Charles Hammond of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Argyle, officiating. Interment will take place in Freiburg Cemetery. Military honors under the direction of Cass City VFW Post# 3644 and U.S. Army. Pallbearers for Mr. Keller: Frank Keller, Rodney Walsh, David Keller, Greg Keller, Brian Keller and Ivan Stine. Memorials may be made to Family Discretionary Fund.
