JASON ERIC KOEPF,
34, of Deford, entered into eternal rest on April 9, 2021 in Battle Creek. He was born August 7, 1986 to his loving parents, Eric Koepf and Eleanor Russett in Cass City, Michigan. He married Christina Michele Johnson on October 19, 2007 in New Liberty Baptist Church of East Enterprise, Indiana.
Jason loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed being outside in nature, working on mechanical projects, and just simply being home. Jason worked, on and off, as a trucker for the past 10 years and as a farmhand, in between, for four years. His kind, loving, giving, helpful, forgiving, and joking nature was one of a kind. Jason’s most memorable qualities were loved by all who knew him. His children, nieces, and nephews were the greatest joys of his life.
Jason is survived by his wife, Christina; children: Gerald Koepf, Austin Koepf, Ella Koepf; his parents, Eric Koepf and Eleanor Russett; he will be greatly missed by his siblings; Jennifer Stakalosa; Jeremy Koepf; Katelyn Koepf along with her significant other, Tyler Muz and their children: Koal and Claire Muz. He will also be missed by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death his grandparents; Ella and Robert Russett, Lois and Bernard Koepf; great grandparents, Harold and Romona Thane; father-in-law, Dale Johnson; infant cousin, Brady Hudson Elwood (son of Jessica Elston and Steve Elwood).
A remembrance and celebration of Jason’s life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be considered to Christina Koepf to be used at the family’s discretion. Family and friends may share memories, prayers, and photos with the family at www.kranzfuneralhome.com.
