STEPHEN CARL LALKO
67, of Caro died Saturday, March 6, 2021 in Covenant Medical Center Cooper Campus, Saginaw. He was born September 21, 1953 in Cass City to John George and Genevieve Elizabeth (Podgorski) Lalko. He married Laura Lee Dandron August 2, 1975 in St. Michael Church of Deford.
Steve graduated from Kingston High School. He worked for General Motors in the Delphi Plant of Saginaw for thirty-six years until retiring. Steve enjoyed hunting especially for deer, turkey, and the occasional mole in the yard. He was an avid knife collector and owned a fine assortment of Case knives. Steve and Laura were fond of traveling, Mackinaw City was a favorite destination.
Steve is survived by his wife of forty-five years, Laura; son, Eric (Amber) Lalko of Salt Lake City, UT; daughter, Lyndsay (Chris) Smith of Freeland; grandchildren: Stassi Smith, Chyna Lalko, Aaron Ponder; brother, Paul (Evelyn) Lalko of Kingston; sister, Donna Bang of Deford; mother-in-law, Bertha Dandron; sisters-in-law: Liz (Bob) Woodward, Susie (Gordy) Hull, Angie Waun; brothers-in-law: Gene Dandron, Harold Dandron, Ken Dandron, Al Dandron. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dennis Lalko.
