YVONNE LOUISE LeVALLEY,
68, of Cass City, died following a brief illness, Monday, June 7, 2021 in Covenant HealthCare, Harrison Campus, Saginaw. She was born April 17, 1953 in Almont to Richard "Dick" and Christine (Martinez) Erla. She married Bruce Louis LeValley on October 25, 1975 in St. Pancratius Catholic Church, Cass City.
Yvonne graduated from Cass City High School in 1971. She attended Northwood University and earned an associate’s degree in Fashion Merchandise. Yvonne enjoyed seeing and working with the customers while she worked at her family’s store, Erla’s Food Center. Following her time at the store, Yvonne raised her two lovely boys. She looked forward to visiting the Bay City and Saginaw Malls to shop. Yvonne treasured the shopping trips to Shipshewana and garage sales, hoping to find the perfect bargains while “garagin”. Her favorite television shows were American Idol and the Young and the Restless.
Yvonne is survived by her husband, Bruce; children: Nathan LeValley (Talisa Laming) of Cass City; Trent (Mindy) LeValley of Cass City; grandson, Mindy’s son Brendan; brother, Rick Erla of Hernando, MS; brothers-in-law: Paul (Sandy) LeValley of Petoskey, Marty (Doris) LeValley of Cass City, Dick (Paula) LeValley of Cass City, Alan (Tammy) LeValley of Pigeon; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and infant brother, Russell Erla.
Graveside service held 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 11, 2021 in Elkland Township Cemetery with Sam Leppert, Funeral Service Celebrant officiating. Memorials may be made to Bruce to be used at the family’s discretion. Family and friends may share memories, prayers, and photos with the family at www.kranzfuneralhome.com.
