William Linderman

WILLIAM JOHN LINDERMAN,
74, of Rochester Hills died unexpectedly Thursday, February 25, 2016 in his home. He was born February 28, 1941 in Cass City to Harvey and Phyllis Mae (Rogers) Linderman.

Bill worked for ITT Higby as a Machine Operator retiring after over 28 years. Retirement found him working with his son on carpentry jobs, as a Hi Lo driver for General Motors for ten years and most recently cutting lawns and plowing snow. Bill loved to be busy. You would often find him tinkering in the garage at night, tearing scrap metal apart for a little extra money. Bill loved his 51 Ford Truck and would participate in the Dream Cruise on Woodward annually. He loved playing Euchre and sharing a beer with friends. Bill enjoyed being with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Bill is survived by his children: John W. (Cathy) Linderman of Auburn Hills, Lisa Stephens of Pontiac, Dana Linderman of Pontiac, Nathaniel Walker of Flint; grandchildren: Jonathon, Ashton, James, Jordan, Brianna, Donovan; great grandchildren: Gena, Hunter, Carter; brother, Harvey Linderman of Cass City; sisters: Janet Roberts of Linwood, Helen Sprague of Essexville, Marilyn (Bill) Woodward of Cass City, Norma Jean (Jerry) Craig of Salina, KS; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sisters: toddler, Ruth Ann and Nancy Peters.

Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2016 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City with Brad Speirs of Novesta Church of Christ officiating. Interment will be in Elkland Township Cemetery, Cass City. Pallbearers for Mr. Linderman: Jonathon Linderman, Ashton Linderman, James Linderman, Nathaniel Walker, John Linderman, Sean Mitchell, Billy Cox. Memorials may be made to Family Discretionary Fund.
