HAROLD LITTLE
Harold Lee Little, 85, of Cass City, died Friday morning, November 24, 2017 in his home following a battle with cancer. He was born January 3, 1932 at home in Novesta Township the second of five children born to Mack and Helen (Turner) Little. He married Joan Atkin on June 10, 1955 in Novesta Church of Christ.
Harold graduated from Cass City High School in 1949. He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in England during the Korean War. Harold was a lifelong farmer and always helped with handy work. He loved photography, especially taking photos of wildlife and of his family. Harold appreciated and enjoyed the art of coloring with pencils in adult coloring books. He was a life member of Novesta Church of Christ.
Harold is survived by his wife of sixty three years, Joan; their children: Carol (Ron) White of York, South Carolina; Kurt (Melissa) Little of Evanston, Illinois; Suzanne (Michael) Grimmer of Vicksburg, MI; grandchildren: Matthew Little, Kayla Little, Anna Little, Melanie White, Megan White, Leise Rosman, Alison Park, Mitchell Grimmer, Suzanne Grimmer; four great grandchildren; brother, Keith Little of Cass City; sisters: Lota Hartel of Caro, Joyce Young of South Carolina, Hazel (Murray) Caister of Pt. Huron; numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother in law, Jim Young; sister in law, Wanetta Little.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 28, 2017 in Novesta Church of Christ with Brad Speirs and Charles Emmert officiating. Interment in Novesta Township Cemetery.
