Sherri L. Little, 56, of Cass City, died Wednesday, August 7, 2013 in United Hospice of Marlette Residence Center. She was born July 13, 1957 in Cass City to Thomas and Norajean (Boyl) Little.
Despite her disability, Sherri graduated with a bachelor's degree in business from Saginaw Valley State University with highest honors. Her family was the most important part of her life. Sherri loved her nieces and nephew like they were her own children. Sherri was always supporting her loved ones in fulfilling their hopes and dreams. She enjoyed all family gatherings especially family game nights (which she usually won!). Sherri started a yearly event of taking her nieces and nephew to the Renaissance Festival.
Sherri is survived by her parents, Tom and Norajean Little of Cass City; brother, Michael Little of Salem, IN; sisters: Cindy (Dan) Shaw of Decker, Sandy (Bernie) Wolny of Cass City, Lori (Jim) Jensen of Brown City. Also left to cherish her memory are her nephew, nieces, great nieces and great nephew: Andrea and Emily Little; Crystal (Mickey) Strickler and Carissa; Kimberly (Jeff) Koslakiewicz, Rylee and Sydney; Christopher Morrish and Brooklynn; Kayla (Joe) DeLong, Breslyn and Jenisyn; Misty (Jon) Carpus; Casie Jensen; Jessie (Michael) Craigen and Oliver. She is preceded in death by her grandparents: Wesley and Jean Boyl, Vern and Beatrice Little and nieces, Lynsey and Brandi Shaw.
Funeral service held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August11, 2013 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City with Brad Speirs of Novesta Church of Christ officiating. Memorials may be made to United Hospice of Marlette.
