 MARJORIE A. LANGMAID

Marjorie A. Langmaid, 87, of Denver, Colorado, formerly of Cass City, passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 8, 2025 after spending five months in a nursing home. She was born on April 28, 1938, in Michigan, to the late Jack and Mary (Sharrette) Stahlbaum.

On June 9, 1956, Marjorie married the late Gerald F. Langmaid. The couple lived in Pontiac and later in Lake Orion, Michigan. Together they raised four children until Gerald’s death in 1971. After her husband’s passing she moved her family to Cass City where she continued to raise their children. In 1987 she relocated to Denver, Colorado where three of her adult children live. She enjoyed the remainder of her days in the company of her children, beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

Marjorie loved being at home and, as her health permitted, she enjoyed getting out for grocery shopping twice a week and visiting the thrift shop once a month. As her health began to fail, she had much help and support from her children and also from her grandchildren, who adored her. Majorie enjoyed reading her Bible on a daily basis and doing crossword puzzles. She was an unashamed woman of faith who was looking forward to seeing her Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, face to face. Matthew 11:28, “Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

Marjorie is survived by her children: Gerald (Marlene) Langmaid, David Langmaid, Nora Didier, and Ronald Langmaid; by six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. In addition to her parents and husband, Marjorie is preceded in death by her infant twins, Jack and Gail Langmaid; granddaughter Alissa Langmaid; three brothers: Jack, William, and Donald Stahlbaum.

A private family burial will take place in Ekland Township Cemetery.
