MARK WAYNE MEEKER,
60, of Cass City, died unexpectedly Wednesday, December 1, 2021 in his home. He was born July 8, 1961 in Flint to Basil Leroy and Hazel Anna (Long) Meeker.
Mark attended Millington schools for a short time and then Cass City Schools. He worked various jobs throughout Millington and the Cass City area. Mark was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting for rabbit, squirrel, and deer. He loved fishing the Cass River and the Saginaw Bay for perch, walleye, or anything that swam. Mark was fond of drinking coffee, beer, and playing Keno in Gilligan’s. He was the kindest, gentlest soul on Earth and was able to sit back and laugh.
Mark is survived by his siblings: Diane (Tomm) Foskett-McLean of Clio; Steve (Janie) Meeker of Cass City; Krystal (Randy) Reeh-Shaffer of Austin, TX; Karri Dillon of Caro; his best friend, Jay Spencer of Cass City, Jamie Cupp of Lexington; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Joey David Spencer.
