George Mester

GEORGE RAY MESTER
George R. Mester, 56, of Deford, died following a lengthy illness August 13, 2018 in his home. He was born May 5, 1962 in Cass City to Doris (Ray) Mester.
George attended Cass City High School and went to work as a roofer for Thomas Roofing. He was fond of throwing dice and playing cards, especially gin rummy. George dearly loved his kids and grandkids and spending time with them. He enjoyed throwing ball and had many words of wisdom and knowledge. George will be missed and never forgotten by many.
George is survived by his daughter, Jessica Mester of Cass City; his son, Jason (Amanda) Mester of Cass City; seven grandchildren; his brother, Jim Mester; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Thomas “Tommy” Mester; his mother, Doris Mester; sister, Eileen Mester; brothers: Richard Mester, William Mester and Charles Mester.
