MICHAEL DAVID WILLIAMS
Michael D. Williams, 75, of Owendale, was born May 20, 1950 and passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2026 with his family by his side. He was born in Ypsilanti to Neal Henry and Mary Lou (Jewel) Williams. He married the love of his life, Janet Fry, in Tuscola County on September 2, 1978 after being together for seven years.
Michael enlisted in the United States Army and served in Vietnam as a young man and afterwords worked in the Army reserves as a recruiter. He worked hard on the railroad to provide for his family after his service and at the Caro Regional Center where he retired. Michael loved playing music on his guitar. Together, he and his wife Janet played together for many years for friends, family, and countless others.
Michael also enjoyed fishing, camping, movies, concerts, and sitting on his deck playing his music loud enough for the neighbors to hear. He loved his pets like his children; from his dogs: Mr. Nobody; to his beast of a German Sheperd, Roscoe whom he bought for his wife.
Michael is survived by his wife, Janet; sons: Josh Williams, Johnathan Williams; siblings: Pat Warner, Bo (Sue) Trout, Carl (Joanne) Trout, Tina Torres, Vickie (Terry) Balzer, Vada (Jim) Bolzman, Robin (Cornelious) Murphy; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters: Penny Blankenship, Pat Sullivan, and Sherry Oaks.
