WILLIAM EDWIN MILLER, JR.
70, of Elmwood Township, died Saturday, January 1, 2022 in his home. He was born April 1, 1951 in Goodrich to William Edwin and Mildred Marie (Morse) Miller, Sr. He married Jeanette Wilson.
Bill attended Goodrich – Clarkston schools. In his younger years, his hobbies included water skiing, target shooting and hunting for rabbits and pheasants. Bill began his trucking career by driving straight trucks and eventually owned his own semi. He was a long-haul truck driver for over thirty years, driving coast to coast. Bill had lived in Wyoming for about ten years, where he loved hunting for mule deer and elk. He also enjoyed time spent raising farm animals.
Bill is survived by his wife of fifty-three years, Jeanette; sons: William (Carrie) Miller III of Deford; John (Clara) Miller of Webberville; daughter, Angela (John) Corbett of Putnam, Ontario, Canada; eleven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; brother, Richard (Susan) Songerath of Auburn Hills; sisters: Lois Sholts of Brooksville, FL; June Nazario of Cass City. Bill is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Donald Songerath; sisters: Nadine Miller, Joan Miller, Loretta Songerath.
