COLLEEN MARIE MOORE
62 of Kingston, died Friday, May 21, 2021 in United Hospice Service of Marlette Regional Hospital following a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born October 11, 1958 in Cass City to Robert Dale and Audrey Jean (Behr) Leslie.

Colleen graduated from Cass City High School with the class of 1976. She attended Baker College and graduated with a degree in applied science. Colleen worked at Courtney Manor of Bad Axe as a physical therapist assistant. She coached Sandusky High School volleyball for over ten years. Colleen and Robert Moore owned Parkside Meats and Deli of Sandusky for over seventeen years. She was a long-time 4-H member, superintendent for buymanship and a sewing/crafts leader with the Sanilac County 4-H program. Fond of traveling, she enjoyed her unforgettable trip to Africa in 1998, and Mexico with her family. She liked going to the cottage in Caseville, sewing and crafting with her daughters and grandsons. Colleen treasured time spent with her seven grandsons and attending their sporting events.

Colleen is survived by her daughters: Stephanie (Ronald) Buffa of Kingston; Jenna (Richard III) Kearns of Midland; Kelsey (Austin) Groner of Catania, Italy; grandchildren: Hunter Brown, Blake Brown, Clayton Buffa, Richard Kearns IV, Robert Kearns, Jameson Groner, Jackson Groner; parents, Robert and Audrey Leslie of Decker; sisters: Diane (James) Hrabec of Davison, Roberta (Brian) Hall of Rochester Hills, Hope (John) Gallagher of Plainfield, IL; Merilee (Kenneth) Krucker of Sterling Heights, Ann (Russ) Jenkins of Caro; brother, Robert (Kathy) Leslie Jr. of Decker; Albert (Dawn) Leslie of Decker; father of her children, Robert Moore of Kingston; many nieces and nephews.

Memorial service held 12:00 p.m. Saturday, June 5, 2021 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City with Dr. Rev. Ken Krucker officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Sanilac County Evergreen Guys and Gals 4-H Club. Family and friends may share memories, prayers and photos with the family at www.kranzfuneralhome.com.
