ROGER J. PARRISH,
88, of Cass City, died Monday, September 27, 2021 in his home. He was born November 9, 1932 in Cass City to William and Elena (Stowell) Parrish.
There’s no saying what will happen when a seed of talent is nurtured. Roger was the perfect example. The combination of raw talent, encouragement from his parents, and opportunities to hone his skills proved to be just what he needed to blossom into Cass City’s “music man”.
Roger is survived by his nephews: Gary (Darlene) Parker, Ronald Parrish, Larry (Ruth) Parker; niece, Cheryl (Mike) Mattlin; sister-in-law, Freda Parrish. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Wanita (Ken) Parker; brother, Dale Parrish; nephew, Russell Parrish; niece-in-law, Marlene Parrish.
Graveside service held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 16, 2021 in Elkland Township Cemetery, Cass City with Pastor Dale Bullock of Mizpah Missionary Church officiating.
