PEGGY JANE HYATT
Peggy J. Hyatt, 83, of Snover, died Sunday, January 5, 2025 in United Hospice Residence of Marlette. She was born December 26, 1941 in Bay City to Ronald and Vivian (Streeter) Campbell. She married Laurence Ernest Hyatt on October 14, 1961 in Gilford. He died May 4, 2014.
Peggy graduated from Fairgrove High School. Later in life she attended Jordan College in Cass City and received an associate degree in business. She was an active member of Mizpah Missionary Church of Cass City. Peggy enjoyed tending to her beautiful flower garden and watching Western movies on television. Having an artistic flair, she was talented at writing, crocheting, drawing, painting, and making ceramics.
Peggy is survived by her sons: Douglas (Vicky) Hyatt of Deford, Thomas (Corrine) Hyatt of Carsonville, Dennis (Tammy) Hyatt of Columbiaville; grandchildren: Christopher, Jeramie, Joshua, Brent, Kayla, Caitlin, Casey; two great grandchildren; brothers: Justin “Buck” (Marilyn) Campbell of Fairgrove, Buddy (Linda) Campbell of Gilford; many nieces. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Laurence.
Funeral service held 12:00 p.m. Friday, January 10, 2025 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City with Pastor J. T. Mabe of Lamotte Missionary Church, Marlette officiating. Memorials may be made to the United Hospice Service of Marlette or the family.
