BERNADETTE MARIE REDMAN,
50, of Eagle, died Thursday, September 15, 2016 unexpectedly in her home. She was born April 1, 1966 in Mt. Clemens to Elliott Lee and Lorraine Arlene (VanDuker) Vinson, Jr.

Over the years Bernadette worked as a waitress, a clerk for Lyle's Party Store, construction jobs with her brother-in-law, and most recently in shipping and receiving for Meijer Grocery Store. Bernadette enjoyed watching movies, listening to music, watching soap operas and visiting the casinos. Most important to her was spending time with her grandchildren.

Bernadette is survived by her children: Amber (Gordon) Redman of Grand Ledge, Preston (Kayla) Baes of Mooristown, TN, Kelli Sible of Grand Ledge; grandchildren: James, Hunter, Justin, Amelia, Alayna, Bayleigh, Austin, Jaden, Hannah, Brady and baby Parker due in October; great granddaughter, Ella; mother, Lorraine (James) Spaulding of Deford; brothers: Anthony Bennett of Lapeer, Elliott (Kim) Vinson, III of Caro, Wayne (Rebecca) Bigelow of Flint; nieces and nephews: Rebecca Vinson, Amanda (Rob) May, Ashley (Joe Bean) Farnum, Jared (Amanda Hubert) Vinson, Hayleigh (Jacob McQueen) Vinson; great nieces and nephews: Sabina, Gavin, Mia, Ellie, Joey and baby Thomas due in October; aunts and uncles: Gloria and AJ Lassiter of Murfreesboro, NC, Robert (Kay) Vinson of Winton, NC, Steve Jernigan of Murfreesboro, NC, Rebecca (Joey) Davidson of Colerain, NC; Martha Van Duker of Meadowlands, MN; many cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Elliot Lee Vinson, Jr.; stepfather, William Don Cutlip; grandparents: Ella Mae and Elliot Lee Vinson, Sr., Paul and Sabina VanDuker; aunts and uncles: Leon (Evelyn) VanDuker, Edward (Clara) Wasilkowski, Raymond VanDuker, Linda Jernigan.

Graveside service held 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 23, 2016 East Dayton Cemetery - Caro. Interment will be in East Dayton Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Beginning in Grace Church, Grand Ledge.
